Contact JosephJoseph "Joe" Gagum is the Facility Event Crew Leader at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. He brings over 11 years of experience with the City of Myrtle Beach to every event. Joe is known for his attention to detail and strong work ethic. Meeting planners and event producers rely on him for smooth execution, fast room changes, and proactive support. He leads the event staff during setups and tear-downs, manages daily tasks, and trains new crew members, all while maintaining a safe, efficient work environment.
Joe's unique ability to anticipate needs before they arise is what sets him apart. Proudly embracing his detail-oriented personality, he often jokes, "If I straighten it… It needed it!" His precision, structure, and commitment to getting every detail right help ensure each event experience runs flawlessly from move-in to move-out.
When he’s not at work, Joe likes to explore new cultures, travel, take scenic drives, and spend time with his girlfriend, family, and his toy poodle, Papi. No matter the event, Joe’s dedication and reliable leadership make him a key member of the Myrtle Beach Convention Center team.
