Ursula Witherspoon

Ursula is one of our energetic Sales Mangers of 13 years. She is a 30 year hospitality professional and is always promoting southeastern tourism and brings conventions to our facility. Ursula is a member of IAEE and obtained her CEM in 2009. Her job duties include securing trade shows, conventions, and events for the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. She doesn’t just book event space, but multi-tasks by managing existing accounts and building tourism relationships via outside sales calls.

When not promoting tourism she takes part in it, by kayaking and hiking in South Carolina and Georgia. She displays her travel destination keepsakes in her office. So, as you visit Myrtle Beach please visit Ursula’s office. She has tons of travel stories to share and can tracing each journey with a caricature drawings, magnets and goofy critters.
