Paul Edwards

Paul works tireless as our General Manager for the past 11 years, with a total of 25 years serving the City of Myrtle Beach with his “First In Service” outlook. He believes that numbers don’t lie, so much so he obtained his AS degree in Accounting and was formerly the Finance Manager for the City of Myrtle Beach. As the General Manager, Paul welcomes meeting all event planners, oversees and directs the operation of our facility, and leads Sales & Marketing, Administration, Operations, and Convention Services departments with benevolent support.

During long weekends Paul can be found riding his Harley and spending time with his family at their cabin in the Smoky Mountains. Paul isn’t a smoker; however no matter how he travels on 2-wheels or 4-wheels he will stop along the way to collect unique cigarette lighters. As unique as a non-smoker owning cigarette lighters, Paul sings country music…loudly…in his car…and has a devoted tone deaf fan base. Stella, his Labrador Retriever and himself.
